In February 2026, Boreal Technique had the privilege of delivering the full stage and audiovisual installations for the 2026 Innovation Summit organized by MEDTEQ+, held at the Grand Quai du Port de Montréal. This flagship event within the health technology ecosystem brings together researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, healthcare institutions, and public decision-makers with a shared goal: accelerating the adoption and commercialization of impactful innovations. The Summit stands out for the quality of its content, the relevance of its strategic panels, and the strength of its B2B networking opportunities. Conferences, specialized workshops, and technology showcase areas are integrated into an environment designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
Our mandate covered all stage and audiovisual installations across the venue. We designed and deployed the main stage — the true centerpiece of the event — ensuring seamless integration with the venue’s architecture and the client’s brand identity. Multiple B2B zones and workshop areas were also built to provide functional, flexible, and technologically robust environments for business meetings and targeted presentations. A major component of the project involved delivering full electrical distribution for nearly 40 exhibitor booths. Our team engineered and installed a structured, safe, and code-compliant power network, guaranteeing each exhibitor reliable electrical service tailored to their operational requirements.
One of the most distinctive installations was the Phosphen booth, which featured an immersive three-wall video mapping experience. This setup required precise coordination between visual design, projector positioning, and surface calibration to achieve seamless synchronization. The result was a captivating environment that immersed visitors in the company’s technological universe, showcasing our ability to deliver custom-built solutions at the intersection of scenography, multimedia, and technical engineering.
The main stage played a central role in the overall attendee experience. We installed a 20-foot-wide by 12-foot-high LED screen, providing a striking visual platform for presentations, video content, and dynamic graphic environments. The stage hosted multiple panels and keynote speakers, requiring an elegant and adaptable configuration capable of supporting various formats. The scenic design fully integrated MEDTEQ+ branding into the visual elements and backdrops. Prior to installation, we delivered a complete 3D rendering package to the client, allowing for validation of scale, camera perspectives, and graphic integration — ensuring perfect alignment between creative vision and technical execution.
One of the most innovative aspects of this edition was its sound approach. Instead of a traditional PA system distributed throughout the room, we deployed a fully headphone-based simultaneous interpretation system. Attendees listened to the conferences in their language of choice through individual headsets, creating a true “silent conference” environment. This configuration ensured consistent audio quality, optimal clarity, and significantly reduced ambient noise. The absence of a traditional sound system also improved circulation and conversation in adjacent networking areas.
To further enhance the visual experience, we implemented a multi-camera capture system with dynamic sequence shots. The live feed was distributed in real time to several strategically placed broadcast monitors throughout the venue, allowing participants to continue following the sessions while moving between spaces. Altogether, these elements combined to deliver an immersive, cohesive, and high-impact experience aligned with MEDTEQ+’s ambitions.
