Tennis Canada, a high-level sports organization, is the world leader in tennis. Among other things, it has the mandate to organize prestigious ATP, WTP and ITF tournaments across Canada. Several well-known professional tournaments such as the Rogers Cup and other amateur tournaments where athletes generally make their debut, such as the Granby National Bank Championships.
For 2 years now, Tennis Canada has contracted Boreal Technique for its scoreboards, time screens and ball speed screens in various ATP tournaments. For the Granby tournament, our facilities are located on a dozen “courts”. Each “court” requires an LED score screen, 2 time screens for serves and 2 speed screens for serve speeds. We therefore connect around thirty screens to a broadcast control room that is managed by an American company that is responsible for sending the content to the right screens. Our technicians must therefore ”map” the screens and create a computer mock-up for the broadcast team.
We frequently work with our client on their tournaments to provide these highly technical facilities. Some of the tournaments we collaborate on include:
